Lemon Tonic
A refreshing, antioxidant-rich lemon tonic blended with healing spices to energize, support digestion, and boost overall wellness.
Prep Time 10 minutes mins
- 34 oz Water (Coconut or filtered)
- 3 each Lemons whole, with skin and seeds
- 7 tsp fresh ginger optional
- 3 tsp cinnamon optional
- 1 tsp cayenne this is a personal choice, it is very spicy but loaded with health benefits. you may need to gradually increase amount, start small
- 7 tsp olive oil or coconut oil optional (this is a healthy fat that is very powerful in boosting metabolism and reducing inflammation
- 1 tsp clove optional
- 1 tsp turmeric optional
- 1 dash Black Pepper optional
slice the lemons in quarters
Add lemons and water to the blender
add in the spices and oil
blend for one minute or until the lemon is completely processed
PLEASE NOTE: If you are fasting, just blend the lemons, filtered water, and any spices to a blender. Olive OIl and Coconut water will break your fast.
TIP: USE YOUR USED LEMONS FOR CLEANING. Place used lemons in a mason jar and cover with vinegar. Store for 1-2 weeks (or longer) Add to your mopping solution for super clean and disinfected floors.
